Momma's Home Intro

Being a stay at home mom has it's struggles, but it also has it's beautiful moments. Here will be my daily (or at least every couple days) journal full of complaints about my husband, the daily never-ending chores, and anything else I can think of that pushes my buttons. Also, it will be full of small moments that I enjoyed throughout the day too, it's important to see the silver lining of every single day.

As of right now, our little bundle of joy isn't here yet, but that doesn't mean there are no struggles of being stuck at home while growing him. I mean just imagine being the size of a whale, stuck at home in a third floor, one bedroom apartment with no alcohol. It's honestly a nightmare. Not to mention our fur babies that each have their own personality as well.

There's Nova-Jean, who goes by many different nicknames that my fiance and I have bestowed upon her, some of them being: Nova-bean, Jennison and Jeanie. She is a pit bull/chocolate lab mix and is one of the most beautiful dogs in the world. Don't let the adorable face fool you though, she can be quite naughty when she feels like it.

Next in line would be the notorious Dexter, named after a childhood cartoon character because he is always up to no good. His nicknames include Dexy, Nermal and Tokyo Drift. As you can tell from his nicknames he has quite the personality. This small grey cat may be adorable, but he is smarter than he looks, and is very fast. Skrt. Skrt.

Last but not least we have Prince and does he ever live up to his name. He is a long haired and very large cat. Both Josh (my fiance) and I think he is part Maine Coon, we have no way of knowing for sure. Prince is sassy, fluffy and very vocal. Those memes you see about the death stare in cats? That's Prince's specialty. He loves to be cuddled but don't make eye contact and don't touch him where he does not want to be touched or you may see death in the near future.

Now that you've met the gang, it should be a little easier to follow along with my many complaints during the day. It's a small family, my fiance and I with our fur babies and our soon to be newborn, but it's everything I've ever asked for. So although this section of the blog will mostly be about the struggles of being stuck at home, I really couldn't ask for a more peaceful and fulfilling life.
