Knocked Up

As you can probably tell from the title, this movie is not for children or young adults. There is nudity, inappropriate language, drug use and sex just to name a few reasons. However, it is on my list because it stars Seth Rogen. It also stars Katherine Heigl, you may know her from the hit drama Grey's Anatomy. A few other recognizable faces show up throughout the movie as well such as Paul Rudd, Jonah Hill, Ken Jeong, Craig Robinson, Steve Carrell, B.J Novak, Adam Scott and so many more awesome actors. (Those are the just the ones I recognize).

I really enjoyed this movie because the story line is mostly accurate and believable. Other than the fact that if you call your one night stand and tell them you're pregnant, they probably aren't going to react the same way Seth Rogen's character (Ben Stone) did. The arguments, the hormones, the pregnancy, they're all just about to a T. At least it was for me, personally.

Moving on from the reality of the movie, it's just downright hilarious. I found myself laughing pretty hard through the whole movie, even during some of the more serious scenes because I just couldn't help myself. There's just something about the actors in this movie that just make it the perfect comedy. Jonah Hill, Martin Star, Jay Baruchel, Jason Segel and Seth Rogen are all roommates, and that right there is just the tip of the iceberg.

Alison Scott (Katherine Heigl) and Debbie (Leslie Mann) are sisters that go out to a club for a night of fun. Meanwhile, the five roommates are toking it up and building the most ridiculous website known to man. They all go out to what happens to be the same club Alison and Debbie are at. Debbie reluctantly gets called back home to take care of some family business (She is married to Pete who is played by Paul Rudd). Alison and Ben indulge in a *few* more drinks then head to Alison's for some fun. Due to a hilarious misunderstanding during sexual activity, Alison becomes pregnant.

There's a lot more to unpack in this movie, but all in all its 100% comedic gold and should be added to your watch list immediately.
